The International DCPC is exactly the same as the Driver CPC that everyone has completed until now, and is valid for all professional drivers.

Busy Street

VULNERABLE ROAD USERS

The module is aimed at making bus and lorry drivers aware of the dangers presented to other road users by large vehicles as well as their responsibilities towards road safety

RETURN TO DRIVING HGV

'Return to driving’ training courses are a new type of course which can be run from 1 February 2025.

This 7-hour module will allow drivers who are returning to professional driving to start driving professionally in the UK straight away.

Drivers who complete this course will get a Driver CPC card that lasts for one year. They will need to do another 28 hours of training within that year if they want to stay qualified after this

DRIVER INDUCTION

This module is designed to be used as part of an operator’s induction program for new drivers. It has been developed as a generic presentation which may be adapted to suit the relevant systems and policies of individual operators

OLAT

(OPERATOR LICENSE AWARENESS COURSE)

The module is aimed at helping operators, managers, operational staff and drivers remain legally compliant and avoid fines, penalties and disciplinary action from the Traffic Commissioner.

The course may possibly be used to deliver an Operator Licence Awareness course that an operator is obliged to attend as per a requirement from the Traffic Commissioner.

Drivers who ONLY drive in the UK (Nationally) can complete their required 35 hours of training in smaller 3.5-hour sessions, instead of the previous minimum of 7-hour blocks.

The total still needs to add up to 35 hours.
